The new Studio Editor is a complete rewrite designed to provide a superior template editing experience. It offers better performance, more intuitive controls, and a foundation for powerful new features.

What's New

  • New rich text asset with more advanced styling options and animations

  • Improved timeline with better clip manipulation and snapping

  • Consolidated toolbars allowing complete control over styling, clip behaviour and timing without overloaded sidepanels.

  • Built on our own open source SDK, allowing you to add a frontend video editor to your own applications

Current Issues

We are aware of a some issues that may impact your ability to edit templates:

Template not supported

Some templates may include properties that aren't yet fully supported. When this occurs our team gets notified immediately and a fix will be deployed as soon as possible.

We recommend you continue editing in the classic editor and try again later.

Need the previous editor?

Use the beta toggle to switch back to the old editor at any time.

How do I add merge fields?

You can dynamically replace media urls with the dynamic source option in the top toolbar menu:

You can declare merge fields in the merge fields in the right-hand toolbar:

You can set merge fields in the text by typing {{ inside of the text property and selecting the merge field you'd like to use.
