In the v2 dashboard, switching between your Sandbox (testing) and Production (live) environments is a global setting that updates your entire workspace instantly.
How to Switch Environments
Locate the Environment Badge: At the top-left of any dashboard screen, identify the current environment badge next to the Shotstack logo.
Open the Menu: Click directly on the badge (e.g., PRODUCTION or SANDBOX) to reveal the dropdown menu.
Select Your Environment: Click the environment you wish to enter.
Confirm the Update: The dashboard will refresh, and the badge color will change to indicate your active workspace.
What Changes When You Switch?
When you toggle your environment, the following views automatically update to show data exclusive to that environment:
My Templates: Access only the templates saved within your current environment.
My Renders: View the history, status, and logs for renders processed in that specific environment.
Usage Statistics: Your dashboard metrics (Total Renders, Usage, etc.) will reflect the activity of the selected environment.
