You can send videos to TikTok directly from Shotstack by enabling the TikTok destination. Shotstack will automatically upload the video to your TikTok account as a draft. You can then edit and publish it through the TikTok app.

Authentication

Before Shotstack can upload videos to TikTok, you must authenticate and allow access to your TikTok account.

Click Add Credentials, and you’ll be redirected to TikTok to log in. Select the TikTok account to send videos to.

Give Shotstack permission to:

  • Access your profile info (avatar and display name)

  • Upload draft content to TikTok for further editing

Once access is granted, you’ll be redirected back to Shotstack.

Configuration

After returning to Shotstack, click Connect to enable TikTok as a destination for your template. No additional configuration is needed.

Publishing TikTok videos

Once a video is created, Shotstack will automatically send it to your TikTok account. It will appear as a draft in your TikTok inbox, ready for editing or publishing.

Note: TikTok videos will only appear in the mobile app.

Currently, you cannot publish Shotstack-generated videos from the desktop version of TikTok.

Click on the notification to go to the publishing page, where you can further edit and publish your video.

Limitations

TikTok only allows for 5 pending shares within any 24 hour period, after which your account is locked.
