If you need to close your Shotstack account and remove all associated data, you can do so directly from the V2 dashboard.
So if you are in the old dashboard you would need to switch over to the new V2 dashboard.
Once your account is deleted, your credits, templates, and renders will be gone forever.
Please keep in mind that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Follow these steps to complete the process:
1. Access Plans & Billing
Log in to your Shotstack dashboard. On the left-hand sidebar menu, locate the Tools section. Click on Plans & Billing at the bottom of the list.
2. Locate the Danger Zone
Once you are on the Plans & Billing page, scroll down to the very bottom. You will see a section outlined in red titled Danger Zone.
This section is specifically for permanent account actions.
Click the red Delete Account button.
3. Confirm Deletion
A confirmation modal will appear to ensure this isn't an accidental click. To proceed, you must verify your intent by typing the required phrase into the text box.
Type the phrase:
delete my accountOnce typed, the second Delete Account button will become active. Click it to finalize the process.
Important Reminders Before You Go:
Data Loss: All renders, uploads, and templates will be permanently removed.
Credits: Any remaining available credits will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Subscription: If you have an active paid subscription, ensure you have reviewed and ended your subscriptions before deleting.
Note : If you are still unable to delete your account, please simply fill in and submit this Form and your account would be deleted within 48hrs.
